Little Black Book Creative (LBBC) provides editorial and media relations services. Our extensive experience as journalists working in the national press enables us to deliver top-quality editorial and to bring an insider’s perspective to PR. Our little black book means we can get your story in front of the right people in the media and we work with some of the best writers, photographers, designers and communications professionals in the business.

Kate Simon

Kate has been a journalist for more than 25 years, working on various national newspapers and consumer and business magazines. Kate joined The Independent on Sunday in 1997, becoming Travel Editor in 2005. In late 2011, she changed role to become the part-time Travel Correspondent of both The Independent and The Independent on Sunday. Kate is co-founder of Little Black Book Creative. She looks after new business and account direction, as well as offering consultancy, training and public-speaking services.

Simone Kane

Simone’s career in journalism spans more than 20 years. She has worked on national newspapers and magazines, copywriting and website projects. Simone also founded and published La Luz, a magazine for the English community living in Andalucia, Spain. More recently, she has specialised in travel-writing, contributing to The Independent on Sunday and The London Evening Standard. Simone is co-founder of Little Black Book Creative. She looks after day-to-day account management and is the first point of contact for press enquiries.

Since December 2012, we have been working with Triggerfish Communications, a leading marketing communications company that represents some of the top names in business tourism and hospitality. Our collaboration offers clients a broader choice of PR support, allowing the option of representation in either the consumer or business-to-business sector, or combining both to achieve a more integrated campaign.
